There is no account and no server behind this app: your boards, your history and everything else you make stays on your device. The sections below set out the few things that do leave it, and what would change if ads are added.
What the app stores, and where
Your boards, saved icons, Compare selection, recently viewed history, appearance preference and any icon submissions are stored only in your own device’s local storage. They never leave the device.
There is no account, no sign-in, and no server belonging to this app — so there is nowhere for your data to be uploaded to, and no way for us to read it.
Connections the app makes
Apple — icon artwork is loaded directly from Apple’s servers (mzstatic.com) as you browse, rather than being re-hosted here. Apple receives the ordinary information any web request carries, such as your IP address. App names, developers, ratings and dates come from Apple’s public iTunes Search API.
Google — to check whether you actually have a working connection, the app requests a small empty file from www.gstatic.com. It carries no information about you or what you are looking at.
The app runs no analytics of its own and sets no cookies. What you actually do in it — what you search for, save, compare or look at — is not sent anywhere. Ads, if shown, are covered in the next section.
Advertising
The app may show ads. When it does, they are supplied by an ad network (Google AdMob), whose software collects your device’s advertising ID, IP address and basic app-usage signals in order to choose which ad to show. That happens inside their software rather than ours — your boards, searches and saved icons are never part of it, and are never sent anywhere.
Where the law requires it, you will be asked to consent before personalised ads are shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device’s settings, under Google · Ads.
Permissions
The app needs internet access to load icon artwork. It asks for nothing else — no contacts, no location, no camera, no microphone and no access to your files beyond the board file you choose to import or export yourself.
Children
The app is not directed at children, and asks nobody for personal information — no name, email, age or anything else — regardless of age.
Deleting your data
Clearing or deleting a board removes it immediately. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it has stored, since all of it lives on your device.

Icons and app details come from the Apple App Store. All icons and app names are trademarks of their respective owners. Logo Ideas is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, or by Apple. Icons are shown for design inspiration only.
